A mobile app experience to help patients communicate with doctors, find same-day care, view records and make appointments for themselves and their family members.
Incorporating customer research at every stage
Our customers were involved in every step of this project. I used high and low-fidelity prototypes to refine the user flow, re-testing as needed. Additionally, I conducted card sorting to determine how to group information and finalize the menu labels. I wasn't satisfied with the design until our patients could perform key tasks with ease.​
Leveraging Sharp's design system to create a more streamlined patient experience
When designing the Sharp app, we determined that some tools like Find a Doctor would continue to live on Sharp.com. Therefore, it was important for the app and website to have a cohesive feel. App design was informed by our existing digital products and design system whenever possible, while also resulting in some new elements and user flows unique to the mobile app experience.​
